17 acre zero waste yard project in Tulsa, OK

We are pleased to announce our new project in Tulsa: a wrecking yard filled with classic vehicles (scrap metal), and other resources. They hired us to transform them into a zero waste reuse yard.   This is great practical experience to get hands dirty before the 45 acre EDEN project begins in Dallas, early 2012.  These guys were getting sustainability awards in the early 90's!

Today we are being super productive in the Austin office.  The businesses in this cooperative have various specialties ranging from integrated web marketing to capital.   Here are some pics that testify to the award winning work produced here, and the tenant diversity needed for a healthy ecosystem.

REUSE CREATES 7.5 T0 25 times more JOBS than recycling!

Zero-waste-economy

So everyone should be aware that the city council sounds like they may not vote for a reuse scenario at a local landfill that would create 7.5-25 times more jobs than recycling!   Clean Jobs folks!   Zero waste does not cost any more then the city is spending, Guaranteed!  It is just a matter of taking what they are spending on wasting and spending it on REUSE!

Please tell your district council person to set a goal of zero waste for the city of Dallas!  That is always the first step for a business or community.   That is also how it happened at the state capitol (Austin) in 2008!   They set the goal for a reason, because it works!  JOBS!!!!!!!!

The way to not create jobs:
