McCommas Bluff Landfill tour

Well, they were calling this a "green tour".  Burning off 2 to 4 million cubic feet of bad methane (which is 30 times more pollutive than carbon)...  doesn't sound that green to us.   The residents in this part of town are wallowing in stench, and the beavers are swimming in toxic muck.   Our tour guide says no one really cares.   Not yet.

Interesting question Elisa,

To change the way we currently we work and operate globally we have to create value where it should be. My personal vision and goal is to change the current model that creates value through the exploitation of natural resources into a model that monetizes the preservation of natural resources where we act in the interests of society and our planet.

Long Way Home

Kicking it in Guatemala with Long Way Home, a non-profit dedicated to seeding youth through sustainable education and building.  Discussing a more formal partnership for international zero waste initiatives.   Not to mention they are helping us plan the next building phase of our satellite Earthship.
